Hullo friends, I'm back again :D with updates on my hall stuff. Damn, I think Kairos really made me love hall a lot......... AND I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED HALL YET D: LOLL.
I must not neglect my studies for hall. I must not neglect my studies for hall. I must not neglect my studies!!!
Recently I've gotten quite a few reasons to neglect stuff like my studies... zomg this is very bad D: I must prioritiseeeeee.
Anyways, lets just talk about today.
Met up with some of the Kairos people for lunch. Less than 'some' actually. Just rachel and tower one and his roomie... sorry I forgot his name again /: chinese names haha. Oops, that's like saying my name sucks too. Hahahahaha.
They ate thai express... I think I really don't enjoy thai food unless it's tomyum. YUMS HAHA. So anyways, yeah we just sat around and talkedddd.
Then emilene and her cousin enxuan (like her very feminine name!!) dropped by for a while. Then my roomie came! ROOMIE I HEART YOU!
At about 1.30pm we left for the 199. Saw a couple of hall 8 people there. Like my sp and his x-clan friend. Took the bus with much anticipation!! On the way, saw lots of people at every bus stop holding up signs for Malaysian freshmen. And wth yz was like 'they're calling out to you'. PFFT. I'm a true blue Singaporean alright. I came here when I was what, 3? 4???
We bused till it's hall 8 :D hahaha. Went to the office straight... there was a queue outside the office, but we just went in and we were like... wow why so fast. Then yz and I realised we were kind of by ourselves in the freshmen queue LOLL.
Apparently the others were waiting till blk 41 gets filled up before moving into the office cuz they want 42 and 43 instead. And no one wants 44 but there was not much of a threat of getting 44 so early. So they waited anyways.
Poor yz and I were fretting and everything, thinking we would have next to zero hall social life in the following year to come cuz we obviously got 41 so early in the queue... We decided to brazen through it all anyways, since she desperately wanted to meet Moth after collecting our keys. Pfft. Lousy reason, I say.
We got our keys and I dejectedly complained and begged everyone I see outside the office to not ostracise us 41-ers. Sighs. Though I kept coming up with the defence that it's the person, not the crowd or location, that makes her cool. Ahem. So there!
Though I still think that my 'reason' is kind of just a small consolation... but well, I tried to make myself feel better x:
Took the keys and stuff and went to inspect our room! It's quite neat and nice :D tiny but still. It's a cheap hall, and it's improved for YOG already, so we should be happy :D heee.
We've decided to move in on Tuesday night :D and spend Tuesday afternoon cleaning up and moving stuff and try and get settled in. ANYONE FREE ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON CAN CRASH I.E. HELP OUT WITH THE CLEANING :D HEEEE.
Seniors said the rooms are quite clean already and don't need much area cleaning. I beg to differ. Though fine, the conditions are surprisingly quite good. But I don't like the dust hahaha. And I want to feel completely at home. So we'll clean! I bet it'll be the fun kind if tiring during cleaning anyways, hahaha. Yayeeeeee!!
And we stay on level 2! :D so there's no need to climb up and down too much hahaha. And it's kind of near the middle of the level, so we don't have to fear disturbances of people walking buy for visiting or stuff. I have it all worked out. The location is kind of okay :D
Lingered around, complained and whined to my ogmates, inspected the room some more... and then we left! Yz went to meet Moth and I was left on my own ):
Got home and lazed around... on msn, gk told me that a lot more kairos are in 41. ZOMG SO HAPPY CAN :D I was so afraid they would ostracise me. BUT AHEM. Now we can ostracise 43 ;D HAHAHAHAHA.
Okay, just kidding. I'm lame this way x: heee.
I'm really happy now :D muel met mum tonight. Mum seems okay with muel :D yayee! :D
Ahhhh wish tomorrow would come faster. And I wish I knew what to do for add/drop tomorrow! Still yet to find elects to aim for D: oh man.
