19th - end of exams (ending with a bang of biz law) so we'll definitely celebrate somehow. Watching PotC 4 is definitely on the list of to-dos!!!

20th - WAKEBOARDING with the girls!! Though can use tampons then, it still wouldn't be as comfortable as nothing. Sooooo good to have menses now :DDDDD woohoooooo!!

Polling Day tomorrowwww!

I WISH I COULD VOTE THIS YEAR.

The sentiments of the netizens seem to be extremely anti-pap and very pro ANY opposition. Seriously, is this called for. Opposition and their supporters keep talking about rising cost of living in Singapore. But really, if you opened your eyes and looked BEYOND this island, don't you realise that inflation is everywhere? In fact, I think anyone who's well-educated enough would realise that inflation is inevitable and might even beneficial if it occurs in a well-paced progression.

The investment failure also want to blame PAP. Again, few investors survived the financial crisis and almost everyone lost money, no matter how big or small. Warren Buffett did too. WHY YOU ALL WANT TO BLAME PAP.

I think a few legit criticisms of PAP, are its lack of apparent connection with the ground, and as the fb article I liked yesterday, the arrogance. But arrogance is not necessarily a flaw of a government to run the country what. PAP has been in power for all the years since Singapore is known as who she is now. The opposition keeps telling voters to not just look at the past, historical track records.

But what track record do the opposition parties have? Even their promises are not very solid. They sound nice and dreamy yes. But I don't think NSP's idea of pegging national growth to wage growth is very feasible. If you keep promoting wage growth, I don't think anyone would want to hire us already cuz we want soooo much.

And abolishing GST only sounds nice, but is it really practical. I think the idea of earning these tax revenue so that the government has these resources to help the poor is more workable and fair. After all, the poor don't contribute much to the GST, the rich do. But really, PAP government can do more to help the poor... self-reliance is very, very important, I agree (yeah yeah the NE we have in school :D ) and I would hate to see the US's social security scheme implemented in Singapore, but still, more allowance would be good.

Sighs.

I don't know why I'm ranting so much.

I just really really hope that PAP will still win this election. Please. The economy is still recovering, if another shockwave hits, do you think a newly reassembled government would be able to handle it well, if at all? It's not that I'm entirely risk-averse and want to stick to status quo (or maybe I am?) but status quo is good.

I'm very proud of Singapore governance despite the controversy of Singapore being one of the lowest ranked nation in terms of "openness" or something. And this ranking seems to be too frequently quoted by opposition supporters, don't you think.

Guess what. I read Database Management and went to sleep with Security notes in my hand, and I haven't even started on reading the textbook or doing excel ):

If that's not worrying enough, lets look at my finances. Urh bad as usual. But what's worse is that my dad seems to be in difficulties too? Just the inferences of my sister and I. She still has the nerve to laugh about it. She's the one spending all the dollars on her yunnan hair treatments (starting treatments soon, it will last 20 months, costing $40/session), and she has had that braces for more than a year ($2k~ there?).

And she has the nerves to laugh.

Anyways, the signs my dad gave when he gives us our pocket money in the last two weeks are giving us last week's in spare change ($2 and $5 notes) and this week's money in NTUC vouchers and asked us to exchange for cash with mum.

Considerations

Think I spent like 2 hours on consideration lecture today. About half the time was spent pondering over Pinnel's Case and the stupid insufficiency of consideration for part payment of existing debt. Till I emailed prof. SIGH Y DID I DO THAT.

It's only been what, 3.5 days?

Fail internet connection only allowed me to load one section of twitter just now (while another two of my webpages about some deals could not even load a word), and I saw two of my girl friends twit about hang out with their boyfriends ): zomg why is my life so sad ): don't come back la samuel ong.

Anyways, successfully woke before noon today. (Though was unsuccessful at waking up before 9am.) Went to meet ester in school and discussed some fm questions before consulting prof. The consultation was not that helpful actually, just cleared a few questions. Zomg fm is so scary ): I really wanna get an A for fm, but I made so many mistakes and did my questions so slowly in my trials ))))): JIAYOU.

Starting on biz law later. When yangzhi comes. loll I hope to stay away from her world of goo. Anyways, speak of the devil, she's here.

Maydays Love

I've always love May. Because it's my birth month, duh! haha and because it's around the middle of the year. It's kind of nice you know, to be not too far away from the next new year, and being just nice away from the beginning of the the year to evaluate stuff you've done so far this year.

I haven't done much... But better than last sem. Hahaha.

Well... doing FM now. Kind of screwed actually, should be doing other mods first then revise FM. Now I may not have time to revise bizlaw and accounting ): but push those pessimistic thoughts aside. I've been more consistent this sem than the last. A LOT more consistent loll even with my most-neglected IT (cuz of all the in-class exercises cck makes us do).

I predict a 4.5 gpa this sem... LOLL I wish. I really, really wish. Cuz it was so cui last sem that I need 5.0 every semesters till I graduate to secure a nice honours degree ):

Anyways. Gotta get back to work. I swear I will:

1) stop playing tetris from tomorrow onwards

2) exercise when I get bored instead of playing tetris and roaming twitter and fb

3) eat lessssss everyday so that by the time holidays start I won't feel so lousy and lazy to wear nice stuff due to my bulges

And boyfriend has been away for 3 days already ): was making your favourite coffee (haha that packet that I koped from you like monthsss ago) and the smell of it made me smile :D
