I hate my phone.

I effing hate my phone. WHAT THE SHIT. Why are handphones invented? They are bothersome when I need some quiet and alone, and when I feel guilty, ashamed and in need of more shadows. And especially since their usage brings about EXORBITANT charges. ZOMG LA. I AM SO DEAD. What the fcuk man. Just what I need, SOME MORE CHARGES. I think at the rate that I'm going, I won't live till I step into NBS as an undergrad. I'll be cleaning roadsides and picking up cockroaches' carcasses for a living because I am that hard up on the moolah. I hate the way I spend. Whoever dares to make me call them will have hell to pay.

And have I mentioned that deep down, I do despise people who let their parents pay for their transport, bills and stuff? I mean, fine, yes, family and all. But ugh. I'm just so jealous I guess. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I'm going to die. I'm panicking and dying. I will have to count cents and live the days by from this moment onwards. Zomg. I HATE MYSELF.

The total charge for this bill is SGD 98.28. The amount will be deducted from your GIRO account on 14 May 2010.

Thank God my pay should be charged into my account by 14 May. Or else.

I had something interesting to update about cockroaches today. BUT. My mood is totally killed. Even having reconciled with Larry after nearly a week did nothing to soothe my ^@$&% against myself.

UGH MATERIAL POSSESSIONS ARE JUST OBSTRUCTING THE PATH TO MY SPIRITUAL ENLIGHTENMENT. I shouldn't mind paying the bills AND chucking my phone down to the ground floor from my bedroom window too. I really shouldn't.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I can't believe I have to eat air during lunch from now on.

And why must MRT fares be so ex? Why???????

Time flies

I’m so bored I did up a picture with Paint. Dunno if the upload will be successful though, or you won’t understand the title of this post. Because truth is: time crawls here. Now. Sighs /: as if I don’t have enough melancholy in my life now, I smell that my feet stink when I try to put them up on the chair. I hate pumps, I really do. I should have washed them after the day I went to church post-OT; was braving the freaking rain which ultimately caused those foul drops to get into my cheapo rubi black pumps and stinking them all up. Now they feel grotesquely sticky and my feet stink. Great. And I have Pilates later on. Hope I get the spot where people won’t have to have my feet stuck into (I mean, near) their faces. You’re meant to relax and use your muscles during Pilates… though wait, it’ll exercise their lungs and making them breathe more calculated breath if there’s something pungent moving towards their nostrils throughout the exercises.

Whoa, I’m such a life savior, making every of their penny worth the Pilates lesson.

Living by Faith

Service today has such a great atmosphere :D it's coool! Though sermon was the same, the atmosphere just improved :D and I love Praise and Worship in HOGC so much!

Mark came yesterday, and I'm so glad that he made friends and liked it here despite him being Catholic and all hahaha :D

Today, something amazing happened. Really. It just left me so incredulous at how fast God works and how effective He can be when our prayers are specific and made in great faith. Wow. Even though so far I've only had a glimpse of the promise of what's to come, I'll still hold on to the promise because it is something small that I have prayed for, and God took notice. I know He will move and make greater changes in my life, and the lives of those around me, whom I pray for, whom I love.

Wow. I love being a Christian so much :D I love God!

Guess what. NUS WANTS ME TOO! How did I know? I just logged on to the portal and there says Business Administration. Ahem. Now I feel bad about saying that NUS admission is damn slow. It's only two days later than NTU after all, no biggie! :D

Okay, now that NUS has offered me a place, it's time to give my heart to NBS~

Today was a treated day. For real. Lunch was horribly filling - and jinhui paid for it. I felt so guilty cuz I ordered the more expensive set ($15.90++) when the alternative is $13.50++ for the lunch special X: and what's worse, I couldn't finish it anyways x___x

My cg friends are amazing loll. First Sherlynn congratulated me on my NBS acceptance with a coffeebean mudpie (which really is more brownie than mudpie to me - but it's still very yummy!). And we walked around West Mall. Then she had to go and Sam and Mariel came and continued to celebrate my pride and glory (loll).

And I was treated to a Banana Split at Swensons as a result.

The icing on top of the luxurious, sinful triple-tiered cake is: the tealady (more affectionately known as Aunty) made dessert twice this week for all the staff. WHOA IT'S DAMN NICE. The green bean soup and cheng tng can rival those of any dessert kiosk and even my mum's and grandmum's - and that's really something. Zomgosh.

Ate lunch at the Kenny something place today :D it was my colleague jinhui's treat. Or so she THOUGHT, cuz I'm totally paying her back some way or other. I just calculated using the calculator sponsored by the office. It's $29.718. Mine alone was $16.263 and the whole set could feed two teenagers for lunch. NO JOKE. I feel like I can't stomach food for another eternity.

BUT THE FOOD WAS AWESOME!

[At this point of entry, my other colleague was walking past and offered me apples - which I obviously had to POLITELY decline. We talked a bit and... that jogged my memory. It was Kenny Rogers :D]

You know how restaurants serve bread bowls and call them bread bowls? This place serves Chicken Pot Pie for the lunch special :D IT WAS DAMN GOOD! But as I said, it's filling enough for two teens. Let alone poor lonely me, with a very humane appetite. It got me thinking about the NYNY we pass by on the way to and fro work everyday. Bless those stomachs which have to stuff that grotesque piece of Giant Yankee Burger in under an hour. Dress code

Today I got discipled by my co-worker. I would say that I hate her but I think I should know better /: sighs. It's so hard to honour your seniors when they grate your nerves so much. Ugh. Thank God I remembered what John Bevere said about honouring others. Sighs. I shall soften my heart to make it open to changes and !#%@^*%.

I hate how places have dress code. Ugh. Imagine having to follow one five days every week. Zomggggg.

I'm running low on financial reserves, dangerously so. Savings+current bank account has $54.60 and you don't even want to know how empty my wallet is. I NEED TO START SAVING IN THE NEXT THREE MONTHS MAN. GSS is coming. I'm actually praying that my parents will strike the jackpot in lottery or something. Since they're not stopping anytime soon despite all our persuasions. Oh well. They are the adults.

I can't believe the afterglow of getting accepted into NBS faded so fast. Guess it's cuz the acceptance didn't come as that much of a surprise since I knew God was going to give it to me. Some things you just can't explain.

Sorry, no time to update. Busy reading, sweeping floor and playing with Larry during my free time (which isn't a lot). Currently doing the latter. And I'm going to sweep later, when my mum's home, so that I can show her that I'm the one doing the job. BAHAHA.

Having pilates at church tomorrow. Zzz paya lebar. WHY is the Circle Line so dang unfair. It's not even circle yet. Stop calling it a circle line. Okay, so I'm grumbling cuz Buona Vista's Yellow Station takes like another year before it starts operation. UGH ONE MORE YEAR? I feel so bad. For everything. I shouldn't have hung out so late yesterday and today. I hate taxis. My ride today cost $42.40. I should just die.

Btw I got the receptionist job I mentioned yesterday (previous post) loll. Damn far, I still think. And right after I signed the 3-month contract, this Just Education tuition agency called me up about the job at JE. JE CAN. Suntec is too damn far. Sighs. I think I'll be wearing my freaking crocs to work la, since I've to walk so much. Who cares about fashion. I'm a walking fashion disaster :D

Ate at Astons again, for lunch with jay and ed today :D WE MADE ATKINS ROLL IN HIS GRAVE what with our yummy potato salads and baked potatoes :D WHOOTS I LOVE POTATOES!!

Then we watched How to Train Your Dragon in.... 2D. HOW MAJORLY DISAPPOINTING RIGHT (as in the 2D part - THE MOVIE WAS FABULOUS I WANT TO RE-WATCH IT!!!)! I know, man. But Cathay hasn't got 3D anymore for obscene reasons unbeknownst to me. Sighs. And I kept whispering to ed every now and then 'imagine THAT in 3D' when there are spectacular views etc. Oh wellllll! I wanna try 4D movies at sentosa! :DD debs was talking about how you can feel the water on your face during the show WHOA LOLL.

Today has been very hectic. It's one of the most exhausting days of my life. I woke up punctually, but had to search round the house for my certs and testimonials. Only to find it in my parents' room.

Punctual at Suntec City... felt like the Long March from City Hall MRT to Tower 2. ZOMG PLEASE. Thank God they didn't offer me the job. Anyways, spent half an hour filling in the form, writing mini-essays even. Only had about 10 mins of 'interview'.

Went to Dhoby and wanted to buy tickets in advance. Wasted, cuz ed and jay didn't pick up my calls and I couldn't decide if we were really watching the 3pm show. Took train back to Boon Lay.

Picked up reserved book at JW NLB. Went home... DIDN'T BRING KEYS!!! Weather was damn hot. Shoting vulgarities out of my mouth like a mad woman. Threw book and certs home and trudged back towards the MRT. Did I mention that they didn't need my certs after all? ):

Took the train to meet J at Dhoby. Was horribly late (as always) and met at PS. Got off at City Hall instead of Dhoby, can you believe it, cuz I was so freaking clueless. Sighs.

Lunched, movied. MRTed home.

DANCE!!

I finally found out the song we're doing choreography to, after missing two lessons consecutively (!@$!%#&%#&#!$!^@%). It's WITH YOU by Chris Brown! Old song and all. But it's not bad luh, the tempo's not too fast at least [x

I LOVE THE VERSE'S MOVES SO MUCH! It's so sleek and cute :D HAHAHA! Two more lessons left /: pray, really pray, that I can attend these last two lessons! And pray that we can finish the choreo in time hahaha :D

Met up with masu and mel today :D happy girl. Masu cheer up okay, jobs aren't things to cry over for please. Especially when it's boring and all, hahaha.

Thanks to masu for her icecream treat (UDDERS RUM RUM RAISIN FTW!) and mel for her kinder joy treat :D I love rum rum raisin, man! And you really shouldn't eat more than one scoop of it, cuz the alcohol content is quite high, and you get wuzzy if you eat too much, too fast haha.

Watched Tooth Fairy and Cirque du Freak this morning/noon. I agree with mel that Tooth Fairy is such a low budget film, with such a cliche plot. BUT I LOVE THE ROCK. Looks, body and all. Gosh, he's like so hot. I'll never forget him as the Scorpion King in... The Mummy? Yup. Yupppppppp *goes into a trance-like dreamy state*

As for Cirque... IT'S NOT BAD WHAT. I don't know why the critiques weren't nice about it. Really. I thought it's quite humorous, and the plot is rather intriguing (of course, given that the books are interesting themselves) too. And I like the Freaks :D Only, the casting could have been better. Though I warmed up to the guy playing Darren Shan towards the later half of the show... well. He could have been better looking. I mean, isn't that Hollywood or something loll.

Went to hang out with masu... at West Mall and her house. Whoa, I'm such a good friend, extorting ice cream treats from someone who's just recuperating from the aftershocks of getting sacked :D Must learn from me alright. I'll teach you more about the lessons of life and, well, FRIENDSHIPS LOLL.

Then went over to mel's place to swim. I LOVE SWIMMING. But I think warm water is so not for me. I know I complain about cold water in the morning and some evenings, but today's water was just... so warm I felt as if I was SWEATING as I swam. Zomg. How horrible was that. One of the main reasons I love swimming is that I don't (feel) sweat when I swim, please. Zomg.

LJS-ed with mel. I still can't get over the similarity between John Little and Long John Silvers. Really, what's with all the Johns, man. Popes are named Johns and so are shops and people. Zomg durh, marigold, that's why John's a name loll. I'm being mindless, ignore me.

Mel treated me to Kinder Joy. Joyous for a moment. MRT-ed home. Swept. MSN-ed. Blogging.

If you ask me why an eligible bachelor should marry me now, I'll answer... well, I can eat, sleep, cook (rice and maggie mee - oh and pasta with sauce from the can and scrambled eggs! WINKS!), andddddddd - drums roll - CLEAN! :D I clean really well. Just don't make me clean up yucky places. Basic sweeping and dusting duties are horrible enough. Anyways, I think my proposal for marriage is kind of flimsy. Have to work on that and submit a report in the future. Hmm.

Happy belated Good Friday all, but most importantly, HAPPY EASTER :D It's when Jesus Christ rose from the dead. HE IS ALIVE!! :D

Services have been amazing. Though Sat and Fri services have the same sermons, but I love them all the same. It's a crash course on Christianity and it's so simple to understand it rocks :D Thank God for so many lives saved over these special services. And I met soo many new friends :D all of them younger than me loll, I FEEL SO OLD IN A YOUTH CHURCH.

New friends like nicole, huiling, benedict, ivan... :D jiaying isn't exactly a new friend since she's from harmoc... haha. WELCOME :D

And it was Sadelena's 19th yesterday, and Lizah's 19th the day before :D celebrated at Settlers Cafe@SMU before service yesterday :D I MISS MY COLLEAGUES ): wish I could have lingered around longer sighs... but we had fun :D UNO Stacko and Taboo! Lotsa pictures on fb too. I LOVE PICTURES! And not to mention basy's forfeit video :D
