Back from Genting!
It wasn't really fun, I would say. I had my highlights, so thank God that those highlights were enough to moderate the entire trip to be okay. It was actually really dry when I wasn't having my highlights. boo X:
Met up with all my younger cousins. I love my maternal cousins. LOVE them. Though I'm the oldest in that league, it made me feel loved cuz they ALL love me :D Raffles kept making me kiss him, like on the lips!, and wanted me to play with him and sleep with him (come on, he's only eight, kiddies). SO ADORABLE.
And he's like SO chatty. Gosh, wish I could smuggle him back to Singapore.
And his sister is like a gorgeous little girl. She's thirteen with pwetty, big eyes :D (I'm starting to be brewing a pot of jealousy over my female cousins' big eyes) but you can see hints of sibling rivalry when she wanted her bro to shut up loll. Understandable, cuz he's wayyyy too talkative. BUT I LOVE THEM STILL :D
And my darling Sachiel! Gosh she's just so cute. Making nonsensical sounds here and there. She can't really speak and her third birthday's fourth of next month! Maybe she's a late bloomer genius like Albert Einstein was :D wonder which area might her ingenuity be in.
Wasted the RMxx ticket to the theme park cuz no one wanted to ride with me (pout!) and I dunwanna be such a loner and ride alone D: only my aunt and sachiel went with me, so it was hard to take rides when someone has to be looking after a cute toddler like my little cousin X;
Wish I had a friends trip like some people I know did.
Maybe next time [:
Took coach to Genting and TigerAirways back (yes, that budget one). Both are very uncomfortable means of transport. And the hotel was freaking three stars. Three stars in M'sia = absolute motel in Sg. Probably more rundown, given the 45 years (or more) of history that Genting has seen.
I hereby make a solemn vow that I won't ever tag along someone else's (my aunt's) family outing ever again. At least, not without a same/similar age companion. Excluding their maid, everyone there was at least 10 years older or younger than me. Actually, make that at least 12 years. But you get the point x__x
5th March 2010
My grades are horrible. I just repeated "not happy, but not sad either" to people who cared enough to ask how I felt about my results after asking me what they were. (Maybe I should've just said "Grumpy".) So there. Not that I was hugely upset. But I dunno. I know I can get into universities so I shall stop whining about that. But scholarships-wise... aiya, I shouldn't ever have gave hope to it /:
Anyways, day started out with a rush to print out pictures at NTUC Xtra and I met my relative there. This particular relative's relationship with me is: my mum's mum's younger sister's husband's younger sister :D we used to go to JB together occasionally loll. She was working at the very HP booth where I printed out the 100x 4R pictures.
Then I got home and cursed myself for oversleeping that ten minutes cuz I still couldn't decide on things to wear. I mean, really, what?? So in a valiant attempt at going about dressing up in an organised manner, I set up a goal for the day - to wear happy clothes :D (yes, I'm totally making reference to my yellow-white polka dots shorts! and rainbow+happy figures shirt!)
Resulted in a very cute little teenager who looked like she was about to receive O's than A's :D I like that feeling. I'd rather not grow up.
Anyways, I carried all my weapons to inject happiness (or at least soothe their jitters) and rushed to meet peisi at novena. When we got to school, my stupid weapons didn't really work loll. At least, that was what I thought until I saw what Mark commented on my facebook wall :D
I AM LIKE SO HAPPY. One small goal, but one huge victory :D
Gave leftovers to juniors d; hahaha. I care alright. Really.
Went to watch Alice in Wonderland with Edlyn the acey girl. Love love the show :D
JOHNNY DEPP!
Still not very sure of his makeup... (did it have to be that exaggerated??) but you know, he's still him in his mannerism as Mad Hatter :D now he's tied with that guy who acted as Hatter in the SyFy's version of Alice for my favourite on-screen Mad Hatter.
And I was thinking of naming my son Cheshire (cheh-shire) cuz I thought it cute but Edlyn vehemently disagreed. Boo killyjoy D;
Okay, I've decided, I WANT TO WATCH ALICE IN WONDERLAND 3D.
Anyways, I hope people have come to terms with their results (as I sort of have) by now :D
I love my classmates and friends; congrats to all who have done well. Off the top of my head, I think I remember seeing/hear people say that certain names were on the board at the Atrium. Like ml, jeremy, ypl, alvin yue, ..........
Yall brainiacs deserve the aces :D
Yayee!
The next step would be finding a course (and scholarship for the more scholastic ones). All the best :D
Think that the day was even more special cuz I accomplished what I set out to do. Patching up whatever have fallen apart in 2009. Not everything was patched up, nice and pretty. Just one exception.
Preview of next update:
