赚钱很辛苦
Yeah, I'm back again :D
Been busy working, as I've last updated. Eh, the things that keep me sane during work are talking and exploring my E72. Talking, especially helps, as it's actually socialising in another method of phrasing. Either how, work's been dry, if not for the colleagues. I love my colleagues :D they're fun people. And nice. Nice enough to put up with my incessant Lady Gaga's humming or blatant, outlandish SINGING.
I consider it a feat to have stuck paparazzi/bad romance into the heads of at least two of my colleagues namely izan and lizah :D
I MUST BE A LEGEND IN THE MAKING.
Disagree?
Well, we'll see -evil glint in eyes-
Anyways, from the first lesson we had on tuesday for our job training, we were told to not reveal many information from our jobs to our friends and families... but information about job's atmosphere doesn't count right? Doesn't? Good. Cuz it's just plain dry and intense sporadically - which intensifies the tension or emphasizes the dryness respectively.
Awws.
But as I said, talking kept me sane.
Most of my colleagues, those that I really talk to at least, don't speak chinese. Mostly malay. So I bet I'll be conversant in Bahasa Melayu in no time at all :D I'LL BE A LANGUAGE PRO. Since I've established my korean proficiency in our workplace C... X: HAHAHHAA.
They thought I was an indonesian-Chinese. And I think M said that I could pass off as a korean (I hope she meant the after-eyelid surgery kind - either way, I'M GRATEFUL). So I pretended to have half korean blood for a while. And of course some fell for it :D I'm pretty well-versed in the few phrases that I've memorised you know ;DD
Anyways, a job is still a job. I get very uptight when I hear phone rings in the workplace. They say that the seniors told them that during peak periods, each person can get about 16 calls a day. It's like 2-3 calls every hour............ OH NO.
You can't imagine the amount of information we have to memorise to answer any call at all :/
Sighs. And I promised to tidy all my notes into a folder like lizah and ama did by Monday X: dang. Jiayouus zpin. As long as I hang in there till Feb'10, I'm gonna get $7.35/hr :D NOT BAD, IF YOU ASK ME!
And given more experience, I'm sure I can deal with the calls more efficiently... and stop losing callers when I put them on hold (don't they know that they're supposed to be ON HOLD when I put them ON HOLD??). And not get caught by the 'soups' for slacking... wait, I don't even slack :D they say it's okay to converse and gossip when there're no calls okay.
WIRELESS@SG can be received at the workplace too. Hallelujah. Another form of escapism in an era where newspapers/mags/novels aren't allowed...
Shall take more pics on maybe Monday work... alright, or other days. With my colleagues for upload :D
And did I mention that I did up an almost-complete contact list of the temps in my office? :DD so enthu luh. LOLL. Like being an ogl again o.o
And lunch was fantastic today :D cuz there was a UTTERLY PROFESSIONAL ICE-SKATING PERFORMANCE, COMPLETE WITH FOAM-SNOW AT THE CENTRAL STAGE AT VELOCITY during our lunchtime! :D I was like... WHOAAAAAAAAAA. Right in front of my eyes they were doing those spins and leaps and whoaaaaaaaa. I felt like a cheap VIP :D
Too bad by the time I recovered from my stupefied expression, the perf was ending and I took out my phone only to put it back again... let's try on Monday and see if those angmohs'll be there again :D then I'll give my one dozen loyal blog readers a cheap treat :D
Meanwhile, I shall go take care of my queasy tummy...
J'veux ton armour.
